"Stayed at the Grand many times. This time we felt things weren’t to the usual standard. Close to our room the area was being decorated. There were signs apologising but we did wonder, given that the hotel didn’t appear to be ‘to capacity’ why we couldn’t be in an area not being decorated. "Really enjoyed our stay. The Victorian building has plenty of character, the room was very clean, and everything felt well looked after. Breakfast was excellent, and the cocktails were fantastic! A comfortable, relaxing place to stay, and we’d happily come back. :)"

"This is definitely not a 4 star hotel! It is over priced. The rooms are small as is the shower room. The hotel needs updating. It is expensive and definitely don't book breakfast.
