"A really good choice in Sydney. Reception staff were very efficient and accommodation. Our room wasn’t quite ready but they offered us the lounge area that had coffee and tea including showers whilst we waited. Apartment in Block O was clean, lovely comfy bed, good bathroom and kitchen with a coffee machine, which was ideal to have morning cuppa on a nice balcony on the 12 floor. Location was perfect, lots of shops and restaurants around in Zetland, a very short walk to the bus stop (304) into the city, we just tapped our debit cards when getting on and off. We also walked into Sydney one day which was about 45 mins, Surrey Hills is walkable too which also has a good vibe for drinking and eating."

"It was a nice stay with clean and comfortable rooms. The free breakfast was good and satisfying. The staff was nice and accommodating. The hotel is in close proximity to the airport. However, it is too far from all the attractions."

"Spacious room, with fridge and kettle, No microwave. The room should have been aired longer - some body odour present, soo grateful for the air conditioning. Long very noticeable slash in the blind and lots of scuff marks around the room. Lovely bathroom. Everything very clean. A very gloomy and dark reception area. Would not want to return."

"The two bedroom suite was perfect for our needs. It had all the cooking and cleaning facilities that we required for our stay. Both bedrooms had plenty of space and the kingsize beds were very comfy. The balcony and living area were a good size and the bathroom was furnished to a high standard. The hotel is in an ideal location for exploring the city as it is right next to the train station but far enough away from the city centre to be quiet and peaceful in the evening. The hot tub could fit multiple people in it and was very warm. The outdoor pool was not heated so we only used this on hot and sunny days, "

"Everything about this hotel is fabulous and, trust me when I say that I’ve very rarely said that about anywhere! The staff could not be more helpful or lovely if they tried. Whoever trains them should be rewarded. We have been travelling for over 6 weeks and have stayed in some great places but this was the icing on the cake!"

"Parking was terrible despite having pre-paid. Meriton flaunts Consumer Affairs legislation and over sells parking spaces. Ten parking spaces were empty and roped off because of construction work during the week. As a result my car was hit by another patron. Only redeeming feature was the amazing service by Reception staff who had to endure endless complaints from other guests who had also paid for parking. Not good enough for a so called international standard hotel. "
