"I believe the part of the hotel we stayed in was not part of the newer renovated rooms, the room we had was comfortable and very clean. "I was surprised by the state of our room considering we have stayed here before and it was great last time. This time however, there were strands of hair EVERYWHERE. On the floor, in the shower, on some of the towels. Considering we both have extremely low cut hair (buzzed), we knew it wasn’t from us. Other than that, it was okay. The view of the ocean was nice. "Room was cheap but you get what you pay for. Bugs in the bathroom and on the curtains, carpet is warped and a tripping hazard, drawers stick and don't want to work. Housekeeping is lackluster, literally just changed the trash and fresh towels. Breakfast buffet and Customer service is great though!"

"Had a strange experience at check in where the front desk staff was MIA. There was two other guest attempting to check in but there was no one around. I left, had an early dinner, returned and a very pleasant gentleman checked us in. The room was very clean and beautiful. "Staff is amazing, friendly, and knowledgeable.
Room was better than expected! View from the balcony was great.
Music on the rooftop was a nice touch. Food was minimal but there are more than plenty options within walking distance.
Breakfast was good and again the staff was awesome in that area as well.
Valet was fast and polite. Excellent value when booking in advance. Great location. Valet was $50 per night or self parking was $45. We opted for Valet and saved ourselves the hassle.

"While it is an older building, the room could have been cleaner (for example: base boards were dirty, chipping paint sitting on the windowsills). Front desk staff is very nice and helpful. The pillows do leave a lot to be desired; they are foam and not comfortable for us. There is a water jar in the lobby, which is nice, little plastic cups you can fill and take. "
