"Clean room, good location"

"Exceptional customer service. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and exceeded my expectations. One of the best things about this hotel is its convenient location. The mall is right next door, and there are plenty of great restaurants within walking distance. The complimentary breakfast was also a nice bonus and a great way to start the day. I would definitely stay here again!"

"I've booked at this location many times. The last 2 times were a little disappointing. Front Desk and customer service is not as professional as it used to be. Made a call before my stay to confirm my reservation - and was transferred to corporate (without my permission) simply because I requested that enough towels be present in the room upon my arrival with my family. "The room was clean and comfortable. Food and coffee were available right downstairs. Valet parking was convenient, but a bit expensive. I would love to have the option of free parking. However, the valet parking attendants were very nice."

"Hotel Managers Kind people. I always feel safe here. Well lit, clean and safe. Great value, great location. Good parking. Just a slight request, it would be great if you would spray just a bit less of the air freshener. That being said, glad you are even adding air freshener. A lot of other hotels of this category don't. Appreciate all that you do to make this a nice hotel."

"Howard Johnson Wyndham Pasadena was a great place to stay. Although the property is dated, it was clean and felt safe. The location was excellent! Freeway access was easy and there were enough dining options around the property. The only problem we encountered was the lack of enough handicap parking stalls. Other than that, we would highly recommend this property."

"One of the best hotel lobbies I have seen- Places to lounge, divided spaces to work, a conference table and two large screen televisions (set on silent) - with the world cup games highlights the weekend I was there; the breakfast was amazing - some of the best chilequiles I have had anywhere! Great location as well walking distance - a few blocks to all the Pasadena Old Town shops and restaurants!"

"It is not a safe environment for anyone. Owner, manager, and supporting staff allow anyone off of the street just to meet their numbers. I was forced to stay the whole weekend of Friday June 5-8. Expedia spoke with the owner and I was allowed to leave on Monday June 8, 2026. Then because I gave them a bad review, they charged me for 5 whole days and I checked out very early on Monday June 8, 2026. Only to find out that the owner had first agreed to reimburse me for a whole week, then turn...

"There needs to be more attention to detail. We had to switch rooms 3 times first room no AC, second room TV wasn’t functioning, third room finally fully functioning but still just like the other rooms…. Very dusty and there were ants…staff is great but hotel owners and higher up management really need to either hire more people or change the way they’re doing things."

"The shower area tile was stained and appeared unclean. There were numerous homeless people walking around the property, digging in the trash cans. One woman appeared to be living in her car on the property. On the plus side, the lobby in the office provided hot coffee in the morning. While the price on this hotel was fairly cheap (youre basically paying for a bed and shower), I won't ever stay here again."
