"This hotel is set in lovely grounds. The hotel was a manor house, I believe. I would say that my room required a little tlc with attention to detail. The reception staff were amazing, very welcoming and super helpful. We ate in the bar. I would say that the bar menu is limited, not sure why, when the restaurant has an open door to the bar, I could see restaurant customers eating their food, I was that close. It is table service in the bar; however, we were not offered additional drinks and had to go to the bar. They could make more money if they tended to their customers. It wasn't busy when we were there, the staff were new, and the hotel manager seemed to be very busy. All that said, I would probably stay there again, as it is the best hotel close to the Brands Hatch circuit."
