"Everything was wonderful EXCEPT no air conditioning so the whole hotel felt like a sauna (we were there during a heat wave in May) and they didn’t do table service for dinner so we had to order our food and drinks from the bar, which isn’t the end of the world but knocks a star off the rating. "This is a very old Inn with oak beams and uneven floors. The facilities were good however the room was unbearably hot. Even though we had 2 fans on we were just covered in sweat as soon as we came out of the shower. It was impossible to sleep."

"Great place to stay, near the town centre. Has a gym if that’s your thing. Didn’t bother with food as explored the town for food instead. Room clean with everything you need for a good nights stay. Staff friendly. Only complaint was that the music from the gym was v loud & could be heard in the hotel room from 9 am. "
