"The location was really lovely and had beautiful views from the restaurant patio, but it seemed like it was understaffed. There weren’t many staff around and the ones that were there were running around very busy and were hard to catch when we needed something such as ordering food at the restaurant or getting some towels in our room. They were extremely pleasant but just not very available. Also, the place was not very clean. It was passable in the actual rooms, but the patio was full of dust...

"Not a very good environment. People staying there seem to be living in the hotel. There is no AC and the rooms and corridors have a very bad smell. No suitable, especially not for the price."

"The room was beautiful, warm and comfortable. The stay itself was pleasantly quiet with no disturbances and the tap water tasted clean. The amenities were clean and easy to use, if this room were my own home, I would be extremwly happy and I would personally stay again."

"We stayed in a dog friendly room and paid £25 extra for the night. I assumed that would go towards deep cleaning. Sadly not the case. The beverage area had previous splashes from drinks over the surfaces, the mugs were stained, mini bar fridge had crusted dried food on the shelf, bathroom tiles had dried toothpaste marks, towels were verging on threadbare. "This hotel is the perfect location if you want to be close to Heathrow Airport. We rode the bus from the car rental place and it took less than 15 minutes. The staff was great. We were not there long, but they were a life saver, I was trying to schedule an uber but I could not get texts to confirm my identity. The hotel has a kiosk to order a ride. Never seen that before. So grateful!"

"Despite being a very old character property. The Ostrich Inn was well maintained. Easy parking for even a large vehicle. Had a great fish and chips that was served really quickly. Reasonably priced. Our room was clean with everything we needed. One bedside light was needing maintenance to be fixed and tge flexible shower needed tightening but otherwise all was good. Slept quite well, mattress a little too soft for our liking but all lovely bedding Would stay again."
