It is a cosy but dated establishment with its quirks and you don’t expect everything to be perfect. However, I think it’s time to do some updating to bring it back to its former glory. The food was good and catered well to our children. The swimming pool changing rooms were disgusting and the whole fitness facility needs a good clean. We enjoyed our stay but probably won’t go back.

The room was perfect. We did have one small issue but it was resolved immediately by the staff and with no fuss at all. The food in the dining room was great. Both for breakfast and dinner. One thing that really stood out was the high levels of customer service. Top marks to the highly attentive reception staff.
