"The hotel was lovely and the staff were friendly and very helpful suggesting places to visit during our stay. Our room was beautiful, with some lovely touches. We had a coffee maker and yummy biscuits in our room. We also had dry robes in the wardrobe to use at the beach over the road. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious as was dinner. Frühstück und Abendessen (je einmal) waren gut, das Personal sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Spektakulär ist die Lage mit Blick auf Tintagel Castle. Der Ort Tintagel sowie das Castle sind fußläufig erreichbar. "A warm welcome from Jenny. Excellent breakfasts. A characterful property of considerable age with slightly quirky elements: who would expect statues of a Buddha and komodo dragon in a former abbey? Our en suite room room was spacious and clean. The large bed looked a little antique, but was very comfortable. Many would join us in liking like that mix of character and comfort."
