"Un petit hotel au calme sur les hauteurs de Guïmar, dans une ancienne ferme. La vue sur l'ocean et l'ile de la Grande Canarie au loin etait juste fantastique. Un seul bemol, les rues sont etroites, il est mieux d'avoir un petit vehicule. Les proprietaires cubains font aussi restaurant. Ils etaient en vacances pendant notre sejour et le restaurant etait fermé mais la carte semblait allechante. "There is so much to be impressed by at this hotel. When walking through the main entrance you are surrounded by Spanish culture. The breakfast has everything you would expect in a big hotel croissants, coffee, cereal, cheeses and meat etc. but in a beautiful Spanish room. There is a sitting room with piano, a small library with table. The room had lots of beautiful furnishings. The balcony had table and two chairs. Everything in the Expedia photos is what you will see."

"Ett charmigt och mycket speciellt hotell. Man ska vara natur- och friluftsintresserad för att uppskatta det till fullo. Det ligger mitt i "ingenstans" med vandringsleder utanför dörren. Mycket rustika rum, men fullt bekvämt - men det kan vara kallt med otät dörr. Å andra sidan härligt att kunna elda i kaminen på kvällen, det blev varmt och charmigt. Gaskamin finns också. Trevlig restaurang med enkel men god mat. Frukosten utmärkt. Personalen trevlig och hjälpsam men de flesta talar bara spanska."

"Lovely bedroom, clean and comfortable, decent breakfast (continental mainly) and gorgeous setting. Well placed for local walks, location pretty insignificant and no facilities at hotel to relax or sit outside when weather tricky, which was most days because we encountered bad weather. If you are happy walking every day in any kind of weather this is for you. "

"We were upgraded to an Ocean View Suite and it was superb. The views were amazing. It was my birthday while there and we came back to our room to find a balloon, Cava and chocolate, it was a lovely surprise. Every single member of staff was friendly and helpful. We often stay in Puerto de la Cruz but until now have never found accommodation we were happy with. Now we have and we will definitely stay again. "Great property with equally spectacular views of the ocean, golf course and mountains! Rooms are spacious and well-appointed! Dining options are abundant - from an informal pool side cafe to a fancy, multi course dinner tasting menu! Lots of places to lounge - poolside or to stare off at the views. Check-in process was a tad long for my taste but overall a 9.9!!"

"No staff at all to help with check in. No heat in the rooms and it’s freezing. Half the power was out in the room. No maintenance personnel to deal with power being out. Online checking took way longer than it should because their system kept failing. Pretty disappointing. This place has the potential to be really good if it was managed properly. Disappointed. "

"The hotel is good overall, the pools and facilities are excellent but the food and drink in the restaurants is pretty average. Also, they close the main pool area all day for private events which is annoying. "
