"The staff was very helpful and made us feel most welcome. The place was clean and the breakfast was good. I really appreciated that they would not allow us to tip because it made the experience feel more comfortable. Tipping culture in Egypt can be crazy. Our room was very nice and having the two bedrooms was wonderful for our family."

The restaurant serves delicious food at very reasonable prices — I was never disappointed with a single meal. They also assisted me in organizing my day trips with a reliable and trustworthy guide, which made the experience even better. "Not safe for travelers. The manager is not a professional. At 5pm on Feb 22 Sunday, he banged on my door, in a hoodie, without identifying himself. He demanded $25 for airport tranfer. Then I realized this was the manager, one Bahaa. I asked him if that was him, and offered my hand. He merely said $25 dollars. The room itself is clean but very shabby. The linens are ragged. The water heater leaks. None of the electric sockets or lights work. Do not be fooled by the nice garden. Americans and...

"The hotel is old and somewhat disorganized and not that clean, the food is good and it has s good location. Please do not book any tours with them, they not only overcharge you and tell you everything will be perfect since they want good reviews but the truth is after you pay they never answer your messages, if they come to do the tours they are always late and for the hot air balloons me and my family woke up at 4 because it was supposed to be at 5 and no one from the hotel answer or the guy...

"There are so many points that I would not recommend this property at all. First of all the location on Expedia is not correct and the property is located in a really remote area. Nothing in the neighbourhood! No restaurants at all. The only positive point was a local grocery store which was giving you the regular prices without scamming you as a tourist. But please keep in mind, if you don’t have a car, you can’t even go to the store after the dark as the area is populated with many dogs....

"Quiet location outside of the city of Luxor, no traffic noise, peaceful and beautiful scenery located right along the Nile River! Very accommodating staff, polite and prompt service. Food was very tasty, dish’s all clean and overall a great experience very affordable! "
