"This is not what is seen in pictures. The hotel is small, poorly staffed, surrounded by homeless and open air drug users. There is no cleaning service and the towels are like sand paper. Also, the “Jazz Club” is a tiny bar with four stools and no jazz. This was a total let down. I grew up in SF and travel there often and this is terrible."

"Myself and a friend stayed here for 2 nights, reception staff were really friendly and welcoming. Room was just right for our stay, clean and quiet. Good location to get to bus routes and trams. Great stay."
