"We checked in with our reservation to the last room available. We dropped our stuff in the room that had an interesting odor only to head back out. Once we walked out of the room I realized the door doesn’t lock. Not only from the outside but the inside as well. We let the front desk know that we can’t stay in a room that does not lock we were told that it is their last room available and there will not be a maintenance person around for a few days because it’s Fourth of July weekend. "Expedia was who we booked through and the room was fine but they put us in a Handicap room even though they had plenty of other rooms ..and I always love the showers at Hampton Inns, and this was not a pleasant experience other than that it was great !! when you are handicapped I am sure it is nice, the staff and the room was overall great ! Just that flooding floor shower really ruined it for me !"

"We were very impressed with the accommodations. The furniture, decor, kitchen was well equipped for a weekend getaway. The suite was perfect for 2 people and our teen slept on the couch, but ended up in the massive king bed alongside us the second night. The Lodge is a cool area for recreating and the bar (opening soon) was a hip little addition—LOVE the ceiling. We enjoyed eating on the back patio in the evening and we even had a visit from a black bear while sitting just outside the back...
