"It was a great hotel. Everything was clean and the staff was friendly. Stayed one night to visit Salem. It was a perfect location.."

"My husband and I were in the area for a surgery and because of a reservation mishap at a different hotel we found ourselves having to make a same day reservation at Candlewood. Doug and the rest of the staff made our arrival and check in a breeze, they were even able to accommodate our special requests. The only odd things about this hotel is that it’s built a bit awkwardly with a split entrance way that made things feel cramped leading to the front desk. Also the one ice machine in the hotel...

"Nous sommes arrivés et l'hôtel était en rénovation, la piscine et le gym pas disponible. Nous n'avons jamais reçu d'avis et nous avons fait la réservation 1 semaine avant la date d'arrivée. Avec 3 enfants, la piscine était un critère numéro 1 dans notre choix. La propreté de la chambre, surtout la salle de bain, était dégueulasse. Les chaises en velours à la salle à dîner, terribles, pleines de tâches. J'ai demandé pour un remboursement complet ou partiel, jamais eu de retour. Bref, nous...

"Actuality, your app is more difficult than our stay at motel 6 Danvers. Older motel not hotel as others are. Manager helped us finish our booking. I would always stay at motel 6 whenever acoss the country I went. "

"Breakfast is horrible. Second stay here and both times it was aweful. Eggs are like rubber, bacon is not crip its steamed. The pool is too cold for older people to swim. It needs to be warmer. Also you should consider adding a hot tub if you can not make the pool warmer. "

"Breakfast was cold no heat under the eggs. The guest rooms although older are very clean with large walk in shower. Parking needs to identify HP Spots closer to door . "

"The room was brand new! The kitchen had pretty much everything you needed if you wanted to cook! The place was quiet and the cleaning crew did a great job "

"Great place to stay, just outside of Salem. 20 minuets. The hotel was well maintained and a pleaser to stay at. Staff was great! We would stay here again. FYI- there is no Free breakfast onsite. Pay breakfast is next door and the restaurant. Since my event started before they opened , I can not review this piece. But there is a Starbucks sharing the same parking lot, so that was convenient."

"My experience was pretty bad. They were playing music till one in the morning. You could hear the base in my room.All night my tub would not drain when I took a shower and then a lady knocked on my door at nine o'clock to ask me if I drove a certain car and I did not.And I told them what I drove never again"

"This was a cost efficient place to stay on our way to Mass General from Maine. It did take us over an hour to get to the hospital because of traffic, but we left early enough to get to an appointment on time."

"Parking was very easy, accessible, and secure in a good location. Staff are great, amenities are OK, and TV/remote though old, work fine."

"Hotel was literally brand new and I loved how good everything smelled - new and clean. Staff was wonderful. Only issue was towels and sheets were so new that all the fuzzies came off on us. They need to be washed a bit more but smelled clean so we’ll take it! Parking is near a dispensary so that was not too great either…..but the hotel, worth ever penny!"

"Very helpful staff at this hotel. Spacious room and wonderful shower! Convenient location to many historic attractions nearby. Very hard for the people who use wheelchairs reaching to rooms as ramps were not paved smoothly and one ramp near our room was actually broken."
