"We really loved our stay at The Dean in Cork. The hotel had a fun, stylish feel and the room had several great touches. The shower was excellent, the minibar had a great selection, and we enjoyed using the vintage-style radio to connect our phone and play music. "Property is very conveniently located, close to bus terminal, quick taxi to train station, lots of great restaurants in area. Breakfast was delicious and had a wide variety of fresh options including hot dishes, overnight oats and toppings, yogurt and fresh fruit. Staff are friendly and helpful. I would stay here again. Also recommend nearby attractions like the Cork ghost tour and Sultan’s restaurant for great vegetarian food."

"While the strong point of this hotel was its central location there were many issues. The lift was very unreliable on the way up with door closing after a few seconds of opening. The life then wouldn't return and I had to climb 7 flights of stairs to where my room was. The shower hot water was unreliable, it would come one for one minute and then go cold. "A fantastic hotel with truly wonderful staff that go above and beyond in being welcoming and helpful. The hotel, the accommodations and the staff just really brought Cork to life for us. One of the highlights of our trip to Ireland was staying here. Great views of the city and the river. walking distance to anything. Breakfast was amazing as was the outside bar."

"Good hotel if you’re looking for somewhere near to Cork city centre for either Cork visits or a base for wider touring of the area. 5-10 minutes walk from the centre and there was parking on site.
