"This hotel was good for what we needed it for, which was a place to stay on a road trip. We got the executive cottage room, which was very spacious and having that massager was nice after being in a car for 9 hours. It was also kind of nice to be separate from the main hotel, as it was nice and quiet. There were decent options for breakfast. The coffee was made very well. The bed was neither too hard or too soft. We did have some issues with the TV, the picture would glitch on some of the channels and the remote glitched at times as well. We talked to the young man working that evening about it, and he gave us another remote, but said since he was the only worker he couldn't come over to the room to help us with it. He showed us how, but even following his instructions, the new remote didn't do what it was supposed to either. I also don't know if he wasn't aware of the equipment in the rooms, because he said to unplug the box to reset the TV, but there wasn't a box, just a cable screwed into the back of the TV. Again, it was a good place for what we needed, but I wouldn't go out of my way to stay multiple days."

"Wow! The room was amazing!! We loved the two rooms and kitchenette! Plus it’s super conveniently located close to downtown and Casey’s Center! Easy walk over to our Concert! All the staff from the restaurant, bar, registration, breakfast buffet servers, pool, everything was just top notch! We loved the hospitality and the valet service!! It was the best! Also we decided to book for Iowa State Fair after our stay!"
