"The rooms were very clean especially for an old refurbished hotel. The breakfast could have been better. It was just cold cereal and fruit. There was no breads for toast, and there was no protein available."

"Employees were super kind. Our room was very clean. The pool was a bit murky, and the hot tub smelled off, but overall, it was a great stay"

"While this is an older motel on the outside, the staff and cleanliness make the Thunderbird motel a great value. Free breakfast with Hot Coffee is always a plus. Within walking distance of the Star Hotel which has great Basque Food. Looking forward to staying here again the next time passing through Elko."

"Everything was excellent especially the staff! I stay at a lot of hotels and this by far was one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had. 10 stars to the gal working the night shift. "

"The room was at the end and quiet but at 1 am they moved a family of 18 to all the room next to me and it took over an hour screaming kids banging it was awful the lady at the desk the next day responded to my email she was amazing moved me to an upgraded room didn’t let them move anyone above me and kept it quiet for the rest of my stay. She went above and beyond to make sure they fixed the issue. So if it wasn’t for her I would never go back. "

"First time i stayed it wasmt bad rooms weremt the best and hallwayss and rooms smelled like poop bad but this time the lady behind the desk was rude and didnt wanna help anyone they were straight lazy and the room wasnt really clean at all and smelt like stale ciggaretes and alcohol the resturant got me extremly sick like coupdnt get out of bed was going to have to pay for a second day because i was so sick with food poisoning except the front desk people refused to let my wife pay for an extra night up there instead told us to go online and do it wich was ridiculouse id like a refund this wasnt worth the money i paid at all "
