"This was the most beautiful property up in the hills, but only a couple of miles from the city center. The breakfast was great as you sit outside looking at the gardens and surrounding country side. The room was very clean with a great view of the hilly area. Very friendly staff made us feel welcome. The hotel even has a complimentary shuttle to get you closer to the city center. "Arriving at this villa was breathtaking. The immaculate gardens and beautiful structure gave a Tuscan villa feel while still being close enough by bus to the city centre. We booked a family room for 2 adults and 3 kids which was larger than expected and very comfortable, especially the bed. It had a big balcony where we could see the gardens and sunset which created a great memory. "A beautiful property. Clean and comfortable room. Excellent breakfast. Great value for money and would recommend. It was a shame the bar wasn’t open earlier and it would have been nice to have a coffee during the day, maybe reception staff could have done this? A little far out from the centre but of you are happy to walk 40 mins or so not a problem. Bus was also available but couldn’t work out how to pay for that without paying double on the bus!"

"This was our third time in Florence previously staying at other good hotels. Hotel Pendini was by far the nicest place we have stayed in. In its 150th year it exudes a charm and gentility of its own. Centrally placed , beautifully decorated, ample sized rooms and wonderful helpful, friendly staff. The air conditioning was effective and quiet. The breakfast was in a beautiful room with wonderful city views. I would thoroughly recommend for anyone wishing to spend a few days in Florence and...
