"Staff was not knowledgeable."

"Very nice stay overall. However, there was a problem with the shower. Very difficult to get a comfortable combination of hot and cold water. Very low water pressure. Front desk agent moved us to a different room with slight improvement but still not good. This was a 4 night stay. For the amount we paid, especially for the weekend nights, we expect a better shower. Also, entrance to hotel in back from parking lot needs to be weeded."

Probably not used much though looked clean, the hot water was brownish and a bit challenging to use it. Still we enjoyed our stay :)"

"The Earl is as good as you can do in Charlevoix. Rooms are clean and staff is nice. There is zero insulation between rooms - so at crowded times of year it can be very noisy."

"Beautiful building and very helpful staff. But it is a historic building with some of the lack of accessibility that entails. I don’t request accessible rooms because I feel others may have more need than I have. But I found it very challenging to have a bathroom with a low toilet and no grab bars. I hope they will consider upgrading to comfort height and adding grab bars for all their guests."
