"I booked the apartment because it was the only one with 2 single beds on Expedia website, unfortunately it wasn’t when we got there. I didn’t see the small print about leaving a deposit (£150) when I paid for the 2 nights on Expedia app. The apartment was okay clean, but scratches on walls, doors and refrigerator, and I had to take videos as evidence just to avoid getting claims from the management, the boiler didn’t work so I read through the instructions to reboot it just to get hot water. ...

"Where to start, it was cheaper than most places in Newcastle but still wasn't worth what we paid. No air-conditioning, the kitchen drain smelled terrible, the toilet leaked, there were toenails in the bathroom, originally put in a two bedded room when there was 3 of us, very hot stuffy room, unable to open window properly as there was a chain lock preventing us. Beds were clean and fairly comfy."

"I enjoyed my stay here. Check in was good with very helpful staff. Room was comfortable, free WiFi excellent. Didn't have ensuite but actually the toilet and showers were clean and well stocked. There was a large sink in the room for washing ect. They are clearly cleaned regularly by the staff. No kettle in the room but there is a kitchen with all cooking facilities and fridges you can use. Also breakfast cereals with milk and toast are available free which I didn't notice when I booked. Free...

"Great hotel for the great North Run. Easy parking and access/departure even with the road closures.
Staff excellent. Made a big deal about the GNR with a table set up with drinks, snacks, treats for runners and offered use of a shower room after the event. Very thoughtful.
Room beautifully designed - newly refurbished.
Bathroom shower hose loose/leaking at top and bottom and toilet cistern ran continuously. Bathroom detail cleaning could have been a little better but good overall....

"Avoid like the plague.
This place costs an unjustifiable fortune, probably because of the location which is central, but it is a glorified travelodge at best.
Nowhere near 4-star quality in any respect, despite claiming to be. Basic rooms with basic facilities.
The entrance is nothing more than a grimy lobby with lifts, (4-star!) when I arrived back at 2215 I was confronted aggressively by a bouncer who demanded my details and room number, when I refused to give these details I was followed...
