"Sehr schöne alte Klosteranlage. Alles sauber. Personal nett. Kleine startschwierigkeiten gab es mit der Klimaanlage. Konnte aber schnell gelöst werden. Frühstück war gut. Von allem was dabei."

"Our room was clean and quiet. The owner, Marco, was very helpful and organized an early breakfast for us. When we arrived at the B&B Marco offered coffee and cake. He made my day by making me a perfect latte. From the B&B it’s roughly 8 km to Florence International Airport. The B&B does NOT offer shuttle service to the airport. That’s a mistake on Expedia! We took a cap and had to pay 50 Euros - which is a lot for such a short ride."

"This was our second time visiting Florence, staying at Astra. We loved the beauty of the rooms and surrounding gardens. The staff were very nice and helpful. It's the perfect blend of amenities and self-service for us. We had a B&B-style breakfast and service with 5-star rooms and vibes."

"This hotel is just amazing! The view of the vineyards and olive trees are soo gorgeous. We were welcomed with wines and generous amount of tidbits. The rooms were extremely clean and the shower was great too. What amaze us even more was the breakfast quality; the fruits were probably one of the best quality we have ever had. Simple but tasteful. Couldn’t say anything bad about this place, really! "

"We wanted a quiet hotel away from the city but close to the airport.( 14 km) This was ideal a hidden gem. Beautiful rooms, lovely breakfast. They don't do evening meals but there are plenty of options within a 10 mins drive. It is very rural area. Seems popular with Italian film stars for some reason given the photos in the reception office."

"I can't say enough great things about Oltrarno Splendid. It was right in the most perfect location to walk to all things in Florence and the styling, quaint vibe and amazing staff was just top notch. It's more of a bed and breakfast type place and is in a very safe building. A highlight for me was the amazing breakfast available every morning. It was the perfect way to start my day with an oat milk cappuccino and a perfect selection of pastries, eggs, meat juice and more. They had a staff member...

"Nice little hotel, with easy access and close enough to main attractions. Room was very beautifully set up, good space with nice bathroom. Only downside was the breakfast wasn’t very good and the iron was broken. But overall would recommend."

"I did not realize that this hotel is combined with another hotel. Although this isnt a true hotel, the few rooms are located across the street in another building. The building itself is nice, front door is secure and good location. However, the entry to the room hallway smelt damp. The room was cleaned but it is dated and needs upgrading.
