"Friendly atmosphere"

"This hotel was a nice surprise. It’s very well taken care of and clean. They could definitely use some upgrades in the bathrooms and with the TVs/remotes, but other than that, I really enjoyed my stay. They had a really effective and simple way to check in in advance l, and a human being texting before you arrived to make sure any special needs were taken care of. This was really nice and quite a surprise."

"Staff was great greeting immediately. Pillow cases were wrinkled and couldn’t get breakfast due to someone having an accident. That was the biggest disappointment."

"Everyone was kind and helpful. Rooms were very clean, a/c worked wonderfully thank goodness considering the outdoor heat.lol. Didn't eat breakfast but greatly appreciated the all day coffee. The only thing that I'd recommend is a list of local restaurants and tourist attractions be put in the rooms for visitors who don't really have a plan to go by."

"I feel like they need renovations. The bed was hard. The room was not clean. The shower needs new shower heads. The only thing good thing is the price."

"Our internet was never able to connect and the attendant tried their best to help. My daughter went to shower and screamed because there was at least a 2-inch cockroach in the shower. The shower spout was not connected to the wall all the way. Lastly, and I am 1,000% not making this up: There is a wooden divider between one of the beds and the pull out couch. I looked over and there were 3-4 boogers stuck on the divider. We were offered a different room, but by this time it was close to 10:30...

"We have stayed here on 3 separate occasions and we love it so much we haven’t tried anywhere else in Tuscaloosa. The location to the university can’t be beat, the pool is clean, and staff is always friendly. We will be back."

"Properly grounds and staff were beautiful. The only issue was the hot water it took a long time to get hot and it didn’t get very hot. The towels and bed linen were soft and comfortable for showering and sleeping. I was in a suite and I would stay again in that exact same room,"

"Asked on reservation for ground floor. Wife can’t navigate stairs. Room was on third floor. Elevator not fully functional. Would not return to ground from third floor. Waiting on part. Clothes iron did not work. Control panel on A/C did not work so could not change settings. It ran sort of."

"We switched my guys through about five rooms and each one had mold in the bathroom, AC did not work or all kinds of spider webs and spiders in the rooms. Very unacceptable conditions. I ended up calling Expedia and getting a refund. I put them in the Hampton across the street."

"The hotel is decent, but not for the amount of money that they charged. The pool was broken so I couldn’t use it. There is a smell throughout the entire hotel that isn’t pleasant. Most definitely in need of renovation. Breakfast was decent, but very typical"

"Hotel was beautiful and front desk staff very nice. Had to go to desk 3 times to get bath towels and lotion because none in room. No ice bucket and no cleaning supplies or water in fitness room. Breakfast was not hot even though just put out. Got locked inside pool and front desk had to call maitinence to get me out . Local and was doing stay vacation but will never recommend this hotel"
