"Superbe vue des chambres avec un balcon sur la vallée du Douro. Une bouteille de vin nous attendait dans un sceau à glace à notre arrivée dans la chambre. La piscine est également très appréciée."

"Excelente localización en el mismo centro turístico. La habitaciones muy bien equipada, cómodas y limpias. No tuve que coger taxi para ir a ningún sitio porque todo está cerca. Si algo pueden mejorar. Sería poner agua en las habitaciones cortesía del Hotel y dos almohadas por cama que usualmente se usa. No usamos el restaurant, pero el desayuno fue muy bueno y variado"

"If using the indoor pool, bring a swim cap and flip flops so you don’t need to purchase them. Otherwise, great stay just outside of Porto. We used Bolt to get around during our stay."

"The amazing part: Gorgeous place. Very historic. Super friendly staff. Close but not too close to everything. Loved the Virtudes garden above the hotel. Also best bed we’ve slept in in a long time. The constructive criticism: The very thin walls between rooms was an unexpected frustration in such a nice place. Our fourth floor room was also right below the roof deck and the dragging around of chairs at midnight closing got quite loud. Buffet breakfast is good but not worth the high price tag....

"This was our first visit to Portugal, and Porto Palácio Hotel gave us a wonderful first impression. The entrance is beautiful and grand, and check-in was quick and seamless. We arrived early, so the hotel stored our luggage and invited us to enjoy a complimentary drink and nuts at the rooftop bar while we waited. The panoramic views over Porto were incredible, especially at sunset. Our room was spacious, comfortable and easy to navigate. The toilet and bath/shower being in separate rooms worked...

"The Hotel was struggling with Aircon issues. Our room did not really cool despite the system roaring full blast all night. Not a great sleep. Also, not keen at all on the ‘vegetable’ toiletries! Parsley stem soap and Kale shampoo… who wants to smell like a cabbage?! Staff were as helpful as they could be within their limits. I did suggest during this heatwave, a welcome ‘jug of iced water’ on reception would be a nice welcome gesture on checking in."

O café da manhã é muito bom, funcionários muito solícitos, cama muito confortável e a climatização impecável ! Viemos em uma onda de calor e o ar condicionado estava perfeito ! A avaliação do hotel é excelente !"
