"Great location to where I needed to be. Cadburys world is 3 mins away and the hotel restaurant serves really nice food and roast on Sunday. "

"Nice hotel in beautiful surroundings however the decor is very tired. The staff were very friendly and hospitable and the leisure facilities were good. There is a very limited food menu on offer in the bar and the quality of the food was mediocre at best."

"Had to click on something to get to this part of the review. Never actually stayed at the hotel, but spoke to a lady called Catherine who was brilliant! We had to cancel due to family commitments, but good old Expedia wouldn’t refund as they said I was too late to do as, but I took out the cancellation cover with them which said I could cancel up to the 3/5, but they thought different. I will never use Expedia again. You need to speak to people not robots!!"

"Had a fantastic stay in Birmingham at the Holiday inn express. We were visiting as a family of 3 to go to Warwick Castle, Sea Life, cadburys world and a few meals out in the city centre. Anyways the Hotel was fantastic, massive shout out to Elsa (on the bar) Shadara (so sorry if I’ve misspelt your name) and Uma at breakfast. These 3 are complete superstars. From great service upstairs at the bar reception really nice with my little girl, and the same at breakfast. Will come back again due to...

"Efficient small rooms w a large social areas to acquire food and drinks. Good security for being less than 5 min walk to airport . Train to hotel is 10-15 min walk . Good value . "

"Perfect down to the last detail, such as steel kettle instead of plastic or good block out curtains. Very nice staff. Uber clean."

"Just a 1 night stay for us so didn’t use any facilities. Room was excellent, very clean and comfortable, staff very friendly and helpful. Complimentary car parking at weekends was a bonus as we’ve been ripped off at some hotels. Would definitely use again and recommend "
