"The staff was amazing and very welcoming. The rooms are very clean, they always checked if we needed room service. It's a great location, close enough to New Orleans where it's a short drive but far enough to be away from the partying. The pool area was nice, they cleaned the pool right before we went to use it. The breakfast is small, it's a grab-n-go breakfast but it's great to just get something in your belly before you head out for the day. They have coin laundry if you need it. We would...

"The staff were very nice and helpful while checking in. The room itself was rather grimy feeling. Felt like two star room at a five star Price. Beds were comfortable enough to get a night sleep. Pool was cloudy so we couldn’t use it. the shower was like a pressure washer? I had to make it work though. The staff was excellent at the front counter and in the restaurant bar area."

"Overall, it was very average. The condition of the grounds and rooms were noticably dirty. It's an aging hotel but a little better upkeep would go a long way. While it's in the same class as holiday inn, it just can't compare."

"Property was very unique and interesting with its purposely dated styling. The staff was very pleasant and willing to assistance or give advise as needed. Easy walk to the convention center and many great spots for food. Loved this location and would stay again."
