"Great staff and breakfast "

"The Casa Vela is simply lovely. The room we stayed in was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was well provisioned. But the best thing about the hotel fir me was the garden - set on various levels, with pools and open spaces, it was perfect to relax in."

"Everything about my visit exceeded expectations. My room was clean and spacious with plenty of outdoor space perfect for watching the storm outside. I loved the architectural elements throughout the building which was gorgeous to look at especially the outside details. I enjoyed the indoor pool and can’t wait to come back when the season opens for the outdoor pool. I had a great breakfast in the morning to start my day with many choices and a comforting dinner at the end of the day when I was exhausted after walking all over the parks about a 10 minute drive away. The building was quiet at night and the rooms climate controlled. I will definitely be back it was an excellent value for the price and convenient to the language exam center a 10 minute walk away. The front desk staff anticipated that I spoke English and served me with care. The staff were very friendly and patient as I struggled to speak Portuguese which I also appreciated. "
