"Did not look like much from the outside, but was well presented on the inside and parking was, let’s say interesting. Contact the hotel beforehand to ensure a space.
The desk staff could not have been kinder, including taking our many pieces of luggage up to the third floor (no elevator)
The room was large, comfortable, and well laid out for women travelers (a dressing table with mirror and plugs for a hairdryer- an issue at many of the places we have stayed in). The majority of guests were...

"We had a great stay at Mariners Guest House. Olive and Jen were really helpful and friendly. I appreciated that they could provide us with a beach towel for some wild swimming that we had planned. The room was very clean and quiet. The neighborhood is nice and is an easy walk to ferries, the Hoe, the Barbican, and the city centre. I liked the breakfast and had some great conversations with our fellow guests. Would definitely recommend."

"An excellent location and the friendly, helpful staff make this a very nice place to stay. Also worth coming to for those looking for the English hotel experience. Grade 2 listed building, winding stairs, and lots of charm.
Breakfast was included and was a nice start to the day. The bed was comfortable, and we had no issues with water pressure despite being on the top floor."

"Hotel does need some maintenance doing, our room had some damp in a patch in corner. flakey paint on wall in bathroom. "Suited my needs perfectly!! The room was small but adequate for me as a single traveller for an overnight stay. The hosts are helpful and accommodating. There is a fridge and a microwave in the room which proved useful and the bed was comfortable. The shared bathroom was pristine with a walk in shower. There is a kitchen and basic breakfast items are provided. There was tea bags, sugar and milk in the room with a kettle. As this is a house that you share with other guests I was mindful of the...
