"The room itself was very nice, and the host was friendly and helpful. When we first arrived, it felt as though the property was closed, which was a little strange. Unfortunately, there was no hot water both in the evening and the following morning, which we reported to the host on departure. Had we been staying longer, I’m confident the host would have tried to resolve this. The bed was uncomfortable and the mattress would benefit from an upgrade or the addition of a topper. "Convenient location. Easy transfer to / from airport T5 using the Heathrow Pod (small cost to pay). Hotel itself is a bit dated and can do with a refurbishment. No lift, so have to negotiate steps (2-3) to get from reception to ground floor. If you are on the first floor, in addition you need to negotiate a flight of stairs (12 + steps). Reception staff - ok overall. Not my first visit. Some are attentive and really prompt with service. Other instances, seem to be less so. "

"Let's start with the good stuff. Bathroom spotless, lovely fluffy towels and a great size too, not the usual handkerchief you often get! Massive bed, crisp clean bedding, great pillows. OK, so let's ignore the fact that the decor is in need of an update - it might be shabby, but the room was really clean throughout. Negatives? Central heating SO noisy, I had to wear earplugs to block out the background noise. And the shower, although really good and hot, is like being spiked by needles! Easily...

"Stunning hotel in fabulous location. Hotwl staff were lovely snd nothing was too much trouble. The grounds were kept beautifully and are a real asset to the hotel. Close to Weybridge and Cobham, both areas offer a variety of places to eat out and other shops with a nice mix of usual High Street staples and independent shops and eateries. "The food was lovely breakfast had lots of options and the dinner menu was fantastic! It was a shame we couldn’t dine in the restaurant as it was only allowed for people ordering the set valentine menu .. so we ate at the bar. The swimming pool was cold which was unfortunate. Along with staff cleaning out the drains in front of us by the showers as we swam. But the sauna and steam room and gym facilities were good along with robes to walk down in from our room.
