"Stunning visit- stayed just for 1 night but could not have been better. Upgraded room to Suite which was stunning. Flawless service, great food, and the Spa was brilliant. Thanks to all the team, really special stay. Feedback note- some confusion between kitchen and hotel services as to whether breakfast was included- kitchen disputed whether it was included which is a little awkward. Apart from this very minor note, was fantastic. "

"This stay at Blackthorn went above and beyond what I needed - some time and space for myself to write. In the comfort and peace of this hut in this location, I was able to write nearly 10,000 words, unheard of in my everyday busy life at home! The hut was perfect, the bed extremely comfortable with high-quality linens and duvet/pillows. Kitchen very well-supplied with everything I needed (and more). The bathroom was great too, shower a little on the less-powerful side, but I expected that seeing...

"Staff were welcoming and friendly. The amenities were excellent and the bar food menu offered genuine variety to a good standard. The room I stayed in was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast in the restaurant offered great views over the Oxfordshire countryside and was freshly prepared to order by attentive staff. A one night stay on a cold winters night offering warmth, hospitality and good value. "
