Apologies that we didn't manage to get everyone's names, but Hannah on reception was amazing at check-in, and Kirsty was excellent at check-out. "Breakfast was very good, staff were excellent. The hotel is tired in places but seems to be on the up. We have stayed there many times because of the location and pool. Carpets in some of the rooms need a deep clean. We plan to stay again in a few weeks time."

The food that evening was excellent, and as it was a warm evening we spent a pleasant time sitting outside with our drinks afterwards. "It is under new management, it had been 'let go'. Our stay was tolerable. 1 member of staff was very good others not so. I believe that in the not too distant future it will be excellent, currently a work in progress"

"Hotel was clean and well maintained. Lovely grounds. Doesn’t have air conditioning but fans are provided. We had an issue as had booked twin rooms which I confirmed over 3 phone call but was assigned double rooms which the hotel did rectify but couldn’t done with out the hassle. Make sure you have written confirmation if you require twin rooms. Otherwise all good."

"Welcoming owners Helen and Andy provide a warm, comfortable and luxurious B&B in the heart of lovely Eccleshall. Helen's artsy skill are shared in abundance, with every little detail attended to. Our room overlooked the beautiful garden at the back of the property, adjacent to private car parking, and a gentle stroll down to the town. We plan to stay again, truly a delightful experience."

Lord knows when the mattress was last replaced and room (exec one) just looked shabby. I just expected better for the price. Really disappointing room."
