The Hyve Capsule hostel Amsterdam

10/10 Excellent

"I had a really good time at the hyve!! There's a lot of useful amenities to use and the staff are very friendly. One of the evenings i decided to watch the football inside the hyve and shared some bitterballs with one of the staff members which was fun! The only down side is it's a little bit of a walk to get the tram or bus, however, there's plenty of good coffee shops and ice cream places to stop at on the way. Overall, I had a wonderful time here and will be coming back sometime in the future. Thank you to all the lovely!! 🐝"

"It was out second stay at the Linden, and we absolutely love it. Yes, it's small, but it's very efficiently packed. Being next to a canal in Jordaan makes it a quiet respite from the busy beehive that is Amsterdam. The location is wonderful, next door to the awesome Moods Coffee cafe (great breakfast/lunch spot), a couple of blocks from Saint Jean (The amazing bakery) and just down from Caffe Toscanini, one of Amsterdam's best Italian restaurants (and has been so for 45+ years). The staff was great, especially Wyatt, who we met the first time we were there three years ago. Finally, the Franke A300 espresso beverage machine ☕ is sooo convenient in the downstairs. We can't wait to stay again.朗"

"We were delighted with the hotel for its great location. Not the prettiest part of Amsterdam, but super convenient. Just a couple of steps away from the train station, and tour pickup area. Everything was a walk away. The hotel had good breakfast and a couple of places for dinner options. The rooms were modern and spacious, the bathrooms could have been a bit bigger but they were a good size. The rooms we stayed at were very quiet, no noise at all. We did find that a couple of items in the room needed maintenance and some space lacked cleaning. Overall pleased and would recommend for people staying for first time in Amsterdam."

"Good location near a lot of restaurants and bars. There is a breakfast restaurant but we didn’t try it as there are so many options outside of the hotel. They have a bar but I believe it is only open one night a week which is odd but again there’s so much nearby that it wasn’t a big deal. The gym was fine but got crowded quickly as the space was small. The staff was friendly and everyone would greet us when we walked by. The room was very small but in our experience a lot of European hotels have small rooms so that was to be expected. The most annoying part of the experience is that we had to take one elevator up a few flights and then walk across the hall to another elevator which isn’t a huge deal but a bit of a hassle if you want to run up to the room quick to grab something."
