"The staff at the July were outstanding. They were friendly, helpful and genuine. The hotel itself was clean and inviting. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious. We enjoyed the restaurant and bar downstairs as well as the free bicycles available. It was a positive experience from check in to check out. Amsterdam has many options for lodging, but we will stay at the July anytime we return to Amsterdam. Thank you for everything!"

"Few thing felt not quite right. One waitress at breakfast was quite impolite, nevertheless the rest of the staff was great. Room was nice but a number of things needed attention, such as the WiFi not working or the bathtub half blocked. Things got eventually solved, but with a bit too many reception calls than you would have liked on holiday. Generally though, it was good."

"This cute tiny Hotel was more than I imagined it would be! I expected it to be tiny so my expectations were not super high on how big our room would be but our expectations were exceeded. Friendly staff, snacks available upon check-in and a cute little gift bag with snacks when we left. We were visiting on a 23 hour layover on our journey home and it was a perfect stopping spot for our short trip. Bed was comfy, however the toilet is very close to the shower so if you have long legs you will...

"Everything is quite simply ideal for the leisure traveler. You couldn’t ask for a better location, in the heart of one of the best neighborhoods without feeling crowded or touristy. The staff is extremely welcoming and helpful, and the amenities are excellent. If you plan to do a canal tour, definitely plan to do this through the hotel’s boat, The Tourist, which boasts a historical link to Winston Churchill. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experiences as well. "

"We stayed at Hotel Estherea for a week in March and was so impressed! Such a cute hotel, with spacious rooms and lovely staff. It is centrally located within walking distance to everything you will have on your bucket list while visiting Amsterdam. Will definitely stay here again and recommend!"

"Room was unbearably hot on the first day. Someone left the thermometer on 30C... It took the whole night & following day to cool down as it was a top floor (3rd Fl) apartment and being under the eaves the heat was trapped. The only ventilation was a velux window in the sitting room. There was no way to ventilate the bedroom, which was steaming hot. All the windows in the bedroom were locked by the hotel. "Great hotel with lovely staff who couldn't do enough for you. One point to note, as the hotel is made up of multiple properties, even though there is a lift , most rooms require you to walk up and down some stairs."
