"I stayed here for a family trip to London. The hotel is so close to all the tourists sites and it is right beside Victoria Train Station and only a direct 30 minute train ride from Gatwick airport. The hotel is so tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. All 3 of us loved the quality of our breakfast as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Unfortunately we did not have time to try out the gym. "

"Clean-ish hotel for reasonable price. On the surface it does feel modern. However has a lot of issues with cleanliness when you are there for more than a few min (shower heads look like they’ve been caked in limestone for years). Breakfast is terrible with a packed/messy food hall-style area and probably the worst coffee I’ve ever had at a hotel (from concentrated liquid coffee). Location is also not ideal for getting around London. If you can get it cheap or need to access places nearby, go for it…otherwise you can do better!"

"Property was amazing from check-in to check-out. I stayed there 1 week in the Superior King room, and it was super spacious, nice bathroom with heated floors and towel rack heater. Awesome huge king bed that was very comfortable. Came with complimentary: minibar, sodas, waters, snacks, candies. Staff were extremely kind, including the breakfast staff as well, and the included bkfst was really great as well. I was very impressed with the property itself, very close to Victoria Station, so easy access with all trains and underground, as well as Buckingham Palace. Very Centrally Located to everything. Will stay here again when returning to London."

"The Drey Hotel was the worst hotel I have stayed in since using Expedia to book my travel. This was my first time traveling outside the country to London, UK, and my experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. When I arrived, the concierge informed me that the room I booked online was not the room I would be staying in. They said it was only a “category” room and that I would receive something similar. However, the room they gave me was far from what I had booked. I was later told that the room I reserved had been given to someone who arrived earlier than I did. I explained that I had traveled from the United States and that the time difference made my arrival later. They told me that I would receive the correct room the next day and that the manager would upgrade me in the morning. Unfortunately, no one ever came to follow up. When I went to the front desk to speak with the manager, he told me that he would not be changing my room and that the bunk beds I was given would be sufficient. His response was rude and arrogant. To make matters worse, there was no hot water for the remaining two days of my stay. Overall, the experience was a nightmare. I would like to request a refund due to the poor service and unacceptable conditions. This is my first time writing a review, but I feel it is important to be honest so that others do not experience the same treatment that I did."

"The beauty of the hotel is it’s age and decor. Old in style, but very clean. We had a large Crown Double room overlooking the heath (we always do). Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast very nice and plentiful."
