"We usually stay at drury properties no matter where we go, Fairview heights even though a newer one was probably the worst. The rooms were clean but the pool and hot tub were absolutely disgusting there were hair, skin pieces, bandaids, and the overwhelming smell of urine. You could tell it had not been cleaned in a long time. And the hot tub jets did not work at all it was stagnant people soup. The staff seemed to not care about anything at all. "The inn was charming and very comfortable. The breakfast was not only delicious, it was a feast! Each room as well as all the common areas were beautifully appointed with so many interesting touches of decor... the attention to detail was entertaining and simply delightful. I highly recommend The Lodge at Grant's Trail. My husband and I would definitely enjoy staying there again, next time we're in the St. Louis area."
