"Wingrove House is a welcoming small hotel in the heart of the historic village of Alfriston, just off the South Downs Way. It has been sympathetically restored to make it a comfortable, modern hotel. The staff are friendly and the rooms are spotless. There is a comfortable lounge and I enjoyed sitting there with a book in the evening. Breakfast was also delicious and the restaurante service was great."

From the minute I walked in I was made to feel very welcome from the two people working behind the bar, they were so warm, kind and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. I was checked in very quickly and smoothly. My room was on the top floor up quite a few stairs but this wasn’t an issue for me as I am fully mobile and able to carry my bags upstairs.
