"Beautiful place with amazing hospitality "

"Everything was clean and safe here. I could tell the staff did a good job cleaning the room before my arrival. The only thing I would say was lacking was the breakfast in the morning. Breads, cereal and parfait was really the only option. Would have been nice to have some eggs/sausage/bacon/hashbrown options. A good stay otherwise!"

"Beautiful building and amazing location! I always stay in this area and finally stayed here at the Canopy. I will be back! The parking garage was slightly annoying with the tickets but that’s nitpicking. Bed - 3/5 you could tell the bed was a little older and slightly less comfortable than many others I have slept on Price was right and everyone on staff was amazing! Overall I will be back every time I’m in Minneapolis! "

"There were lots of options at the included breakfast buffett. The food was above par, with both warm foods i.e. biscuits and gravy, eggs, potatoes etc. to grab n go options like fruit and yogurts and such. The dining area had plenty of room. One could enjoy coffee, water, juices, and hot choclate or tea as well! A very good way to start the day..."

"I was rudely treated by staff after booking through Expedia. I arrived at hotel only to be treated horribly by staff and was not able to check for some odd reason! I was not informed and the hotel response was its Expedia fault. Ruined my birthday weekend."

"The staff was exceptionally pleasant and helpful, including the shuttle driver. The property is clean and well maintained, just a bit dated. It’s surprisingly affordable for a downtown location. We were in town one night for a concert and we would stay there again. "

"Location of this place is top notch especially if you plan to go to any sporting events down town. It's close enough you can walk to everything but still off from the main strip so that it's not super noisy. The gym was being renovated and it will legit be the best gym in Minneapolis."

"Staff was lovely and helpful. In the room: AC was not as easy to set as it was on cool but it was cold outside so at night it got cold. The hangers were falling apart (not a big deal tho). "

"Room was clean. Security was good, I felt safe. Parking garage easy to use. Daily flat rate charged to room. Was given a code to be able to come and go from the garage."

"The location of this hotel is fantastic and the charm of the building is unmatched. The relaxed and stylish environment is top tier with the spacious rooms being a highlight. Stoping in for a drink at the bar or bite from the restaurant is a must. Definitely going back! "

"I was disappointed to learn there’s a $25 fee to park here, when I checked in the front desk staff said parking is listed under amenities, I didn’t think to check there for hidden fees, if I pay extra that’s not an amenity to me. Otherwise stay was good. "
