"Dont believe the bad reviews! Lovely little pub, friendly and efficient staff. Nice clean room with two pillows each and drink facilities! Of course its loud below, its a pub! Was perfect for the quick stop over we needed and a nicely cooked breakfasy in the morning too for a very reasonable price! Free tea and coffee included!"

"Finally got a decent upgrade as a Platinum member. Friendly and helpful receptionists gave us Suite 178 which had an excellent sitting area with a bath in it (?), kitchen area and then a very comfortable bedroom and luxurious bathroom with another bath and a large walk in shower. "

"I was extremely pleased with the apartment that I stayed in, it was quiet, spacious and comfortable. It had everything I needed fo my short stay. As they are set up for self catering, you do not get the option for breakfast however, there is a joining store where you can items to make your own breakfast/lunch/meals! "Room was well appointed and clean. Bed was comfy and shower was powerful and hot. Water, coffee and biscuits along with a selection of tea's in the room. Views from the room were good, it's a quiet area. Staff here are polite and welcoming, whether they are serving you or just passing by. "Absolutely lovely stuff, they really made our stay extra comfortable and were more than happy to help with anything we needed. The room was spotless, and the bed was really comfortable. We had both dinner and the breakfast sent to our room, and they were both delicious! Overall a really lovely stay in such a beautiful old building, and I’d highly recommend taking a walk around the grounds before you go!"

"The Barns Hotel is a great place to stay. Staff are very accommodating and friendly, room was comfortable and clean and there is free parking. The restaurant served reasonably priced food and the breakfast was lovely. The manager kept the bar open until we had all returned from a local festival. We would stay here again in the future 😁 "
