"The room is a nice size, clean, but very very dated, the shower was in the bath and not very good. The hotel itself is located not far from Stansted airport and it's the only reason I would consider booking again. The parking at the hotel is very poor and pretty much a free for all but the car park next door is free between 6pm to 8am with proper painted bays where people park rather than just abandon their cars. All in all it was an ok choice of a place to stay for an early flight but I doubt...

"On arrival staff were very welcoming. We were able to check in a little earlier and shown to our room and given all the info we needed for our stay. Quirky little pub with entrance to our room up a little staircase through the kitchen area. Stairs maybe a little tricky for some as they are quite steep. Our room was pretty basic (which we expected for a b&b and at the price range) but was very clean and had everything we needed for our short stay. We had a lovely view of the Quay too. "First time staying and we were impressed. Rooms are spacious and clean. Having a bath in our family room would have been better for our younger children. The receptionist was very helpful, welcoming and friendly! The restaurant food was good. The breakfast was brilliant, lots of choice. Great for both adults and children. I would definitely recommend and would stay again. "
