"We didn’t receive the check-in details until after the stated check-in time had already passed, which made arrival more stressful than it needed to be. "We only stayed here for one night and due to circumstances beyond our control, we did not arrive there until 10.30pm. This was a shame as the hotel was really lovely. Front desk staff were welcoming, the room was splendid, large, clean and a very comfortable bed with plenty of pillows. Even had 2 chairs to sit on, when so many hotels only supply one. We would have liked to have stayed longer with them but had to move on. If we are ever in the area again, we will certainly spend time there."

"Our hotel was amazing. From the valet parking to the front desk to the housekeepers. Everyone was amazing and helpful. The grounds were outstanding and well kept. The pool and leisure center was a great place to visit. Breakfast was delightful. They say it gets busy between 9-10 and it is. But go earlier or set proper expectations."

"This is a quaint bed and breakfast (although we did not realize breakfast was not included with our Expedia reservation until we arrived). Super convenient to Ballymaloe Cookery School and we enjoyed a short drive to the beach as well. There are very few dining options in the area and everything closed very early so keep that in mind when planning your visit. We drove 30 minutes to find a open restaurant/bar to eat dinner. Wonderful coastal drive back to Dublin through Waterford."

"All parts of Foto we experienced were beyond expectations. It was a special spot and a perfect respite from Dublin for a long weekend. Every staff that we came in contact with exceeded our expectations. The minute we came thru the gates, the beauty of the resort was astounding. The food was fabulous. Every meal was a treat. "Wonderful staff, very helpful, clean room, superb and sumptuous breakfast, onsite parking, very fast internet. Unfortunately, with an ambient temperature of less than 14 Deg C in the area, and as there was no central heating or availability of a space room heater, the whole night was very cold for us and ended up with a sore throat, despite two layers of blanket over the quilt. It may be normal for locals, but for visitors from warmer part of the world, it`s very uncomfortable."

"Room clean and larger size and the bed was large and comfy. The bathroom was a large size but the exhaust fan was not working or missing. Breakfast was very nice and lots of options. Off road parking and while location was just out of city, you can easily catch bus from right outside, 1.90 euro to city."
