Mattress was very uneven and uncomfortable - almost slept on the couch instead.
Large gap between sliding shower doors leaks considerable amount of water onto the floor.
Additional charge added to the bill that was incorrect - I did not consume one of the $8 bottles of Smartwater from the room - in fact, I did not use housekeeping in the 3 nights of my stay, so how would they know one way or the other?
Pros:
Convenient location to visit family in Northridge.
Fair breakfast offerings, though not a particularly wide variety.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Also apologetic about the lack of disclosure regarding the valet parking. This must be a regular complaint as there is a printed sign at the check-in desk. No compensation was offered, or alternative options, but that didn't surprise me.
Despite the issues above, the room and hotel were clean. Having a mostly functional kitchen was nice, even if I didn't use it much.
Overall, it was okay, but I wouldn't stay here again. I was looking for the best deal as well as comfort and safety. While I felt safe, I disliked my rental car having to be driven by persons unknown to me without any choice in the matter, the extra charges for valet service removing any "good deal," and the bed was uncomfortable. Disappointed in Hilton, which should be a trustworthy brand."
