"Excellent staff and dining. Bedroom was spacious with good shower but the bed creaked, was too soft and you wallowed when moving. "

"I liked the location near the motorway - it's a busy golf and leisure club. Car park was full. Very quiet location, rooms spacious but there's no air conditioning. Nice bar where you can get a drink or a snack. Breakfast was nice - service not quite on point"

"Outstanding hotel with incredibly helpful staff. Beautiful landscape and layout. Excellent facilities. Spacious room with supremely comfortable bed. Accommodated allergies well. Two minute walk to shingle beach. We would return in a heartbeat if not for one important snag - the restrictive hours for children in the two pools. Only 10-11am and 3-5pm. Surely at least one pool could be allocated for children"

"Wonderfully located in a natural setting and in short driving distance to several National Trust properties and only 30 to 45 minutes to Brighton. This is a great location if you want to combine a trip to the coast with spending time in the nature. Rooms are simple, but comfortable and the breakfast tasty and plentiful. There is a small indoor pool, including a steam room and sauna. I would definitely stay here again but hopefully the next time get a room where the television isn’t broken."

"The hotel is looking very tired. Shortage of sockets in the room for charging electronic devices. Service was good but not amazing. Ate at Farmer Butcher Chef and was disappointed with the quality of the food. Overall given the prices they charge at the hotel and restaurant it was not great. Chosen for the convenience of being on site for the Goodwood event we attended but we would likely not stay there again."
