"I didn’t feel safe, the area is very dangerous and during the night tou can listen to people walking outside and there is a big window with visibility to my room… the room have 3 doors but tou only have average to one of them, because the others don’t work, and it makes it not safe at all!"

I stay at hotels a lot for work and had run into the issue before had never, ever had a hotel not honor the original booking and just reprocess the room. But even though Brie, the woman checking me in, *confirmed* they'd received the booking and my pre-payment, seemed almost gleeful in saying that they would not honor it because I'd booked through a third-party website. "The rooms were beautifully upgraded, just needs a soap holder in shower. We lucked up on parking got street parking after 6 right across street from property. Valet could have opened the door for us, but hey? Maybe he was upset we didnt use valet. The do have valet for a nearby garage . Didnt use the resturant or bar, acne in late and remodeling was happening in lobby area ."
