"I was underwhelmed with this hotel. It is under construction right now, so the lobby layout is confusing and feels very cramped. Our room layout was fine and it was clean, but the bathroom was the smallest I have ever seen. The bathroom door was a pocket door that did not go all the way to ground, thus providing very little privacy. The location is great, but this was billed as one of the nicest hotels in Portland and overall felt very mid-range. "

"There was a human in the breakfast food area who ‘smelled of urine’. His hygiene was appalling. We could smell this person across the other side of a large dining area. His speech was rambling. He was touching items (food) in the food serving area. The food, now contaminated was not removed. Security followed this person around but did nothing. This human should not have been in the area where food was made available for paying guests. "

"We loved our stay here, and would definitely stay again if we're ever in need of a hotel in Portland. Free coffee machine in the lobby at all times. Free breakfast from 6:30-9:30 includes bagels, toast, english muffins, yogurt, fruit, juice, cold cereals. Friendly front desk staff. The room we stayed in was really comfortable, it had a full kitchen complete with a full sized fridge, oven, and dishwasher as well as dishes. "Clean room and nice staff"

"Rooms are decent but you can hear every time a door closes in another room. The toilet is very low and the lids have to be closed before you can flush and they slam each time. The restaurant is closed at night and there are very few nearby options. The checkin area is right by the sliding doors so staff have to use a space heater to keep warm. Overall I would not stay here for “pleasure “ again. "

"Beds uncomfortable. Pillows too hard. Bathroom glass door kept getting stuck and it was difficult to open to get out. Did appreciate the mini frig and complimentary water bottles. Also, staff delivering a microwave when the front desk staff couldn't explain how to use the microwave in the front lobby."
