"Hotel was NOT what I expected based on reviews & photos. Looks and feels like a budget hotel. Looks ran down, not a well maintained property. Multiple power outages during the first night of my stay (ended up transferring to a much better hotel). Beach and pool area are just OK, not nearly as nice as expected. Front desk NEVER answers the phone, placed multiple calls not once were they answered. Phone did not function in the room so I was unable to order room service. Food at Wreck Bar restaurant was pretty good, and the ‘mermaid’ swimming next to the bar was a cute feature. Overall I would NOT recommend this hotel."

"Limited parking, key cards never worked, needs update in rooms and outside. Okay for a quick in and stay. Only benefit across from beach. "

"Staff is great - kind and quick checkin and out Location - not really right across the street from beach. Quite a walk. Room Cleanliness - not the greatest. Carpet was dirty with crumbs and other stuff on it. Bathroom floor had a razor cap. Two towels were dirty with stains. Air conditioning worked on and off Overall was fine as we were gone most of the day but working in Housekeeping management Myself I thought it needed definitely some more attention. Thank you for the accommodation"

"Only the issue we had is breakfast. For vegan don’t see any choice. When breakfast includes in packages please provide vegan items as well. Good location. Good service "

"Cute beach town hotel. The hotel Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice and updated. (I liked our room on the third floor the best) The outside of the hotel could use a refresh but it was clean. We used the pool on the other side of the hotel. It was really nice and had loungers."

"A good amount of staff were great and very sweet but others were not helpful and appeared annoyed when asking for anything especially in the emporium. We definitely got food poisoning at ocean2000 as my husband and I both had the seafood risotto and both got sick. Also the entire time one or two elevators were down so everyone was always waiting and squeezing into the same elevators with strollers and kids. Also not providing body free soap/shampoo in the hotel room is very odd especially in a family friendly hotel. Tons of options in the bathroom but if you used to any they charged you $20 for each bottle. Beach is beautiful and the guy who serves the beach drinks/food was the best, pool is pretty nice. For people with kids and strollers it really isn’t the most accommodating with moving around the resort. No space to walk with strollers to from pool or beach. "
