"The receptionist made a point of emphasising we had room air conditioning & mini bar drinks included in the in-room fridge. Neither the air conditioning or fridge were working - which having checked in at 9pm, we didn’t notice. When we reported this the next morning when checking out - the receptionist checked her vompu& simply said “it wasn’t switched on” by them … no apology, no accountability! "

"I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. There was hardly any staff available, and no one was there to assist us properly. We even had to carry all our luggage upstairs ourselves, as there was no staff to help. The room was extremely dirty — especially the floor. It was so unclean that I had to ask for slippers just to be able to walk inside the room. Instead of bringing them to my room, I was told to go down to the reception and collect them myself. "This is a beautiful hotel very close to the train station. Beautiful old marble, wood and iron in the grand entry. They really made the atrium and breakfast area into something special. There are beautiful wood parquet floors in the rooms. Plenty of towels, robes, slippers provided. Wonderful tea/coffee service set up in the rooms. Amazing breakfast, worth the money. Old but well kept. "

"Our stay was fantastic! The parking process was easy, they had reserved spots for check-in right outside the front doors. Once checked in, they had a valet come get our car and park it for a fee, definitely worth it! The hotel is older, but modernized and very clean. Fantastic location! A few minute walk from the harbour and lots to see on the street it is located. Lots of restaurants nearby!"
