"The hotel is nice. The hotel pub is the same. And the staff is polite. The coffee machine DID NOT WORK in the room. You couldn’t even put the mug (from the hotel room not my personal one) to pour coffee in it because it is too big. In the room there are no sockets. "The bed was very uncomfortable!!! It dipped in the middle so it was quite difficult to lie flat. The balcony only had one seat on it but, as we couldn’t get the door open anyway, that wasn’t a problem. I didn’t take a shower cap with me as I expected the hotel to provide a selection of toiletries. It didn’t. "The bedrooms were quite shabby. The carpet was stained, the TV remote didn't work, nor did the bathroom fan and the dressing table chair was worn through. In my husband's room the bathroom bin hadn't been emptied and the wall heater was very marked and dirty. Every other guest we spoke to had similar stories. "All good on arrival , room not ready so went for a drink, back at 15.00 room ready(320) looked great but stank of sewage, wife complained ( I can't speak), relocated to room 220, nice room, spotless. "This should have been lovely, spa bath in room, bathrobes etc but unfortunately it was disappointing. Tied decor, no bathroom lock, the noisiest flush on a toilet I’ve ever heard, bath plug didn’t fit properly so water drained away, window handle broken so it couldn’t be opened (it was over 30degrees that day).
