STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY AT ALL COSTS! When my family and I decided to hop the pond and visit Rome, Milan, Naples & Florence, it wasn't because we were excited to immerse ourselves in the lifestyle of the ancient Romans or throw the contents of our bed pans out the window like they did in the medieval era, or even be part of excited renaissance period, it was to enjoy "seeing" all these things 800 - 3000 years later. Well, at the Adre "Majestic" View Hotel, you will get to experience all those things in the 21st century. Let's start with Expedia room pictures. They are NOT all from the Adre Majestic Hotel, the nice pictures are from their three-star hotel, which is the hotel that you check in at, just around the block, the ones with the red staircase and the tiny ones are from the Adre, but those must be 10+ yrs old cause the rooms now are worst-than-hostel-like environments. Oh, and if you are thinking that the 96 - 119 sq ft. measurements on the hotel listing are an error, it is not; these rooms are as small as a 1930 War home bedroom. Now on to the hotel "features" 1. Buffet breakfast available - Where? lol. 2. Housekeeping (daily) - Have to ask for it 3. Connecting/adjoining rooms - No 4. Air Conditioning - You get a fan 5. Rooms - Queens are two single beds pushed together Cleanliness - the room smelled like ammonia & we found a bed bug our last day. We reported all this & the front desk did nothing. We even brought them the bed bug. Stay very far away!

The staff here was incredible- such a warm welcome and a warm goodbye. The room was pretty bare- it definitely didn't feel like a cozy stay, but we had sufficient bedding, towels and hot water. We spent one night, just to stop and see the Statue of David. I can't imagine spending more time in the room- it was quite bare and not set up for much lounging. But it was steps away from the museum, and steps away from the train. Perfect location, and the front desk staff was incredibly friendly and kind.

The building smells like sewer, the smell climb through the pipe to the shower drain and the entire room was smelly all the time. They just take cash and said that post was broken. The first day, they did not turn on the hot water so I had to take a very cold shower, may be 8 degrees Celsius. It was an unpleasant experience.

Posto in pessime condizioni, sporco, con arredi datati, senza riscaldamento, finestra con spifferi, assenza di bidet, cabina doccia rotta, asciugacapelli non funzionante. Puzza di fogna atroce, macchinetta a monete , esperienza da non ripetere. Unica cosa positiva l'ubicazione centralissima

Very convenient to the central tourist area. Easily walkable to most things. Room was small as we didn't use the small loft. Shower was very small and the door did not work very well. Check-in is at the Hotel Venito, which is a short walk away. That hotel is easier to find than where you will actually stay. Overall, fine for our purposes.

Ao encontrar o hotel aqui na pagina da hoteis.com, a pessoa vê a imagem de uma recepção (lobby) de um hotel comum, mas a realidade e bem diferente: o local onde ficam os quartos nao possui recepção/lobby. A chave do quarto a gente deve buscar em um outro hotel. O elevador só cabe 2 pessoas e, as vezes, ele fica impossibilitado de usar (travado). O banheiro é um horror: nao possui box, apenas uma cortina e um ralo no chão. Ele é bem localizado, mas se você procura o minimo de conforto, este nao é o hotel ideal.

Receptionist is pathetic. Worst guy ever. And another guy NAWAB he is a big liar and a cheat. Terrible hotel. Don’t stay at all. They are running a scam. Place is filthy.

Awful!

Spent 45 minutes looking for the hotel, a paser by told me that reception was in a diferent hotel. The pics are of a diferent place, room smeled terrible, no heating, the showeris so small could not use it.terrible,terrible hotel

It’s not a relaxed arrival when you reach the entrance but it’s not open, there’s no sign, and the phone number you call is out of service. In my opinion it’s a small effort to inform guests in advance that check-in is at a different hotel around the corner. The staff was all right, the room was well enough, the view good (but I wouldn’t call it majestic). It’s in a building that has regular apartments for residents, of which at least one sometimes blocks the lift/elevator from use. If the shower works, it’s an extremely small space to wash yourself in. The air conditioning didn’t work properly, even after we informed the front desk about it. All in all it’s adequate.
