What a lovely boutique type hotel. Staff is all family run, very service oriented and just nice people. Spacious room and bathroom for Italy. Well maintained and beautiful decor. Great location. Delicious coffee and breakfast. The mother who is a tech savvy 88 years young boss lady was so cute and handled our check in and check out process. Great experience. Highly recommend.

Nice location within a 10 minute walk of the city center. Parking just a few blocks away for 15 Euro per day so was a good option for us. The small family run hotel was a nice touch with excellent service.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel has so much charm and the owners/operators were very friendly and helpful. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. They also provide a very nice continental breakfast. Major attractions are walkable from the hotel but some may find it a stretch. Fortunately it is very handy to the tram line. I would definitely stay here again.

I really couldn't say enough great things about this place. It's beautiful, close to historic area but most of all the hosts were wonderful! So kind, so helpful and loving. Though it is a hotel it felt like Home.

This is fantastic small hotel in a quiet neighborhood off a main road. The hotel is vintage building (150 year old) with original painted ceilings. It's amazingly beautiful, clean and well maintained. You sleep while watching beautifully painted ceiling which is unique experience. The breakfast is really great and plenty of pastries as option.

Great location and in fairly close proximity to the centre of town and shopping as well as tourists attractions by foot. The hotel is historic with well maintained historic paintings on the ceilings. Rooms were spacious and clean. Night traffic was minimal, presumably due to closure of the street in front. The neighbourhood was safe to navigate through at night in search of a laundromat, approximately 1.5 km in radius. The host Rita and Giuseppe were exceptional hosts, eager to assist in all our inquiries. Implementation of modern technology while still maintaining its historic heritage, makes this hotel an ideal place. We would definitely stay here on our next trip to Firenze. We had a lovely 2 night stay and enjoyed every minute! Rita and Giuseppe could not have been more attentive and were friendly and approachable with a great knowledge of the local area. The hotel is ideally situated within a 10 to 15 minute walk from the central area. Our room had a beautiful ceiling, as did the breakfast room, and the whole place had a very Italian feel, which was exactly what we wanted. There are only 7 rooms in the hotel and this enabled us to feel ‘special’. On arrival our only concern was finding our way in, as there is just a small plaque on the wall outside, with no indication that if you ring the bell further along the wall, someone will buzz the door open. The hotel is on the second floor, reached by a quaint lift with opening doors, or by the stairs. Once we had checked in, this was no longer an issue as our keycard worked for the outside door as well as our room. We would highly recommend this hotel and hope that we can return in the future. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

This place feels more like an Airbnb, in a quiet residential area and a 10-15 minute walk to the museums. The staff and the lady (who seems like the owner) are very nice and helpful. Our room is super large and clean, with beautiful paintings on the ceiling which feels very classic. And we loved the ancient elevator the you need to operate yourself. One thing we would prefer is to provide more variety on breakfast. But again, the breakfast room is beautiful.
