Giorgio notre hote a été d'une disponibilite, d'une gentillesse et d'un humour exceptionnel. Sans oublier Silvia qui nous a indiquer avec bcp d'attention les lieux a voir en priorité. On sent chez eux l'amour de leur ville et le plaisir de la faire decouvrir. La residenza Giotto est on ne peut plus idealement situee pour visiter Florence. Vous etes au centre du centre ville 😁. Bref ne cherchez plus c'est la qu'il faut reserver. Les chambres sont spacieuses avec pas mal de rangements (nous etions 2 femmes lol). La salle de bain avec douche tres fonctionnelle avec 2 serviettes de bain par personne. La residence se trouve au dernier etage d'un tres bel immeuble ancien. Elle est accessible par un ascenceur tres original (je vous laisse la surprise) mais egalement par un escalier de 112 marches 😉. La cerise sur le gateau est la terrasse ou l'on prend le petit dej en surplombant le fameux dome 😍 En bref allez y...........

Couldn't ask for a better location with the Duomo right around the corner and placement in the epicenter of Florence's shopping and restaurants! The rooms are 6 flights up but there is access to a small four person elevator. We appreciated the ease of after-hours access with a key fob. The patio view of the Duomo made breakfast a delight. The lack of access to simple needs like an extra towel or utensils in the evening due to no staff being present was offset by the fabulous location.

Impeccable honest service from 2 lovely ladies

Lovely place to stay, Good location, Very friendly staff, very clean with great views After I left the hotel on the train to Pisa I got a phone call a couple of hours later to say I had left 2 passports and quite a lot of money so a big thanks to the the lady on reception and the maid who returned my personal belongs when I returned to Florence

The hotel was in a great location. It has only 6 rooms. It was very clean. The bathroom was very nice. The bed was very comfortable. There was a nice continental breakfast with fresh cappuccino made by the staff. There is a very nice rooftop terrace. The staff was absolutely amazing!!! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Unbeatable gem in the shadow of the Duomo

Look no further if you are planning a visit to Florence. Residenza Giotto is steps from the Duomo and major Florence sites. The staff is warm, welcoming and so very helpful with any needs. Enjoy breakfast or an evening beverage on the beautiful terrace, with a panoramic view of the Piazza del Duomo and surrounding Tuscan hills. Truly a unique and special experience!

We loved the location and the friendly staff. Giorgio is an amazing host. Location is 20 meters away from the Duomo. Fourth floor location afforded us a great street view without much noise. Breakfast was delicious and served on the beautiful patio. High speed Internet was a plus.

チェックインは基本的に17:00までとの制限があり、かつ事前に到着予定時刻の提出が求められた。 旅程が変わって早く着いたところ、そのチェックイン時間内であったにもかかわらず、宿泊施設の入っている建物の入り口がロックされていて入れなかった。 この宿泊施設は、従業員の都合で、宿泊客に到着時刻の厳守を要求するらしい。

The deck truly appears as it is shown. The view is even better at night. We were on the deck for breakfast, and we stayed on it until well after midnight one night speaking with four other guests. ALL of the staff were friendly, helpful, and simply great! The place is not the Ritz, but it is unbelievable what you get for the price. We definitely are coming back.

Right at the heart of Duomo. Very convenient

My daughter and I stayed here for two nights and it is not easy to locate the hotel because it is located in the shopping strip area. There is no hotel staff available before 8 and no one available after 5:00. We need to checked out early and did not know what to do so I had to leave a note at a desk. Breakfast is sad and poor. Nothing much offer at this hotel. I probably won’t stay there again. If you only care about the location, then it is perfect for you.

Hard to get in

It’s a clean B&B, in the great location. It’s kept clean, staff is friendly, but when you arrive, it’hard to find. It’s located on the fourth floor of the building, but if you don’t know that, or arriving after five PM on the week days, or after one PM on Sunday, there is no one to let you in. People, who live in the building, are not very helpfull. It took us a vile to find on what flor B&B is located.

Close to points of interest. Friendly staff. It is located four stories up, within another building, just FYI. There is an elevator though, useful for when carting your luggage. Room was clean, if small, but we didn’t spend time there anyway. AC worked well, which is nice for the hot Italian summer.

Perfect Stay

Fantastic location withing walking distance from everything from sightseeing to shopping to the train station. Very hospitable, warm, welcoming and helpful. We will definitely recommend to friends and family and choose this lodging in the future if we return to Florence.

Great staff but hotel will not make my next trip

Great staff all around, they couldn't be sweeter and helpful. Super noisy neighborhood that's amazing from the terrace at night. Ask for the rooms that face the Duomo or pass. Front entrance door is frustrating and is not always operative. Four keys and an electronic fob to make it to your room. Tiny old slow elevator - somewhat charming. Mold in shower grout, bathroom could use a refreshing, no bathroom niceties like shampoo and blow dryer, beds are Italian hard thin uncomfortable mats but not unexpected. Included breakfast is OK for a fast bite but it is far inferior to the other hotels we stayed in. Overall I would try and find a neighborhood hotel with 24/7 reception that starts at the ground floor instead of the 4th floor.

Improvements needed.

The breakfast was below average .THe elevator was very strange and seemed to be a little bit scary to ride. The bathroom door was very noisy when open or close with a very loud disturbing sound . The reception desk was only till 5 pm and in case of emergency after 5 pm we had to call the staff cell phone that gives the guests the feeling of being insecure in the place.overall it can't be caled a hotel but more of a room for rent.The employees were friendly.
