"The property is very worn and in desperate need of repair and upgrades. Exterior includes pipes leaking, drainage issues, paint degradation, rust in many places. I didn’t hear other guests making noise at night so that was a plus. The room was beachfront walkout which was great. The room was semi-clean which, for a hotel, is basically not clean. There was a blood spot on the linens, a lot of sand under the beds, obviously had not been swept in a while, I had to use a towel as a rug so I wouldn’t get sand in my bed. Sparkly hair extensions on the bathroom floor. Only 3 towels provided (2 were used as rugs) and no washcloths. Coffee maker missing a critical part, mgmt was called but no action taken. The shampoo/conditioner bottles that are supposed to be installed in the receptacles were outside on our patio chair and empty. The best part of the room was the A/C, worked fantastic and quiet enough.
The staff at check-in were efficient and quick. If this property invested some $, it could be a retro shining star and stand out as a really sought after resort."
